The light transmittance of low-iron toughened suede glass (also
known as white glass with thickness of 3.2 mm) is over 91% in the
wavelength range of spectral response of solar cells. It has a high
reflectivity for infrared light over 1200 nm. At the same time, the
glass can withstand the solar ultraviolet radiation, the
transmittance does not decrease.
